Nellie & Kaya similarities

I just cut and pasted (from the AG web site) Kaya's, Nellie's and Josefina's pictures and looked at them side-by-side. Kaya definitely does not have the same nose, in addition to her face being round. Perhaps Elizabeth will have Nellie and Josefina's face shape and nose but will have Kaya's mouth and eyes?

Edited to add: Even Nellie and Josefina have differing facial shapes.

I have been hoping/assuming Ruthie would have the Josephina/Nelllie/Marisol face with long bangless brown hair and brown eyes.

I actually wondered if that could be part of the reason they changed Elizabeth to a blonde.I know it sounds awful, but Felicity has been absent from the catalogue for a while.Maybe Kit is the more popular of the two, and they plan to stay true to Ruthie's book appearance?

If Elizabeth looked like Elizabeth and Ruthie looked like Ruthie, they might be twins!

No I think youre assuming is probably very close to the truth. I mentioned awhile back that if Ruthie looked like she was supposed to, I might just use her as my Elizabeth. Other than the side part and curly hair, they are very much alike. But what you have to keep in mind I guess is that they would have to change some of Ruthie's coloring or give her a differant face because if she had the Josefina face she would look identical to Marisol, the only differance being the skintone.

And you are also right about girls recognizing Ruthie before they would Elizabeth because of Lissie's absense. My only problem with the Ruthie idea is now that I have read some of Kits books, I would really like to get her and the Ruthie/Elizabeth issue would kinda throw things off! LOL I suppose she could just dress up as both...now Im the one speculating about far off things!! I dont even have Kit yet!

The more I look at Curt's and American_Mommy's renditions of Elizabeth using photoshop (Kaya's face mold vs. Nellie's face mold), I detect a bit of similarity in the eyes and nose, the difference being one has a closed mouth and one has the standard, slightly-open AG mouth. I don't have a Kaya to compare with my Marisol who's stashed away in her box.

Could these two face molds be alike in every way except for the mouth, or is it just my mind playing tricks?
